Forest were involved in another high scoring thriller and, with 12 goals scored in their last 2 games, the attacking side of their game is in rude health. This cup tie finished 4-4 after normal time but Forest were able to progress after extra time. Comber Rec were ahead 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 but Forest showed excellent character and composure to peg them back each time. 

Pearce McConkey opened the scoring for Forest on the 22nd minute with a very cool one on one finish after Louis Trainor's through ball. It took until the 53rd minute for Forest to score again when Niall Kennedy equalised to make it 2-2 after excellent work by Jack Devlin. 

Again Comber got their noses in front but when Niall Kennedy was taken down by the last man in the penalty area in the 77th minute, Comber were down to 10 and Nathan Dunn slotted gome the penalty. Within 3 minutes of the penalty, Forest were in front. Paddy Turner delivering a low cross from the left for Charlie McFall to finish first time. 

Comber did well to get an 88th minute equaliser but on a hot day, and with an extra man, Forest knew they would win in extra time if they kept composure. 

The goals duly came in the 109th and 110th minute when Nathan got his 2nd of the game and Jack Devlin finished in trademark fashion to maintain his excellent goalscoring form.
